Language Arts/Reading:
We will be finishing our unit study on "Hoot" this week and complete the projects associated with it in class.  Students were asked to bring in a medium-sized poster, magazines and/or newspapers by Oct. 31.

In addition to asking students to bring in crafts/materials to make a diorama for "Hoot", I have also asked them to bring in a few other items by Oct. 31.  These items are: a medium-sized poster board (or one large one cut in half is fine), to collect magazines and/or newspapers in order to assist them in creating a poster for their story they will be composing in class next week.  We are reaching the conclusion of "Hoot" and are creating our end-of-the-unit projects in class.  If there are any questions, please feel free to contact me at: lrobinson@atmschool.net

*Note*  It is beneficial for students to practice fluency and answer comprehension questions about a book of their choosing at home every night for 20 minutes or more.
