*Valentine's Day Card Exchange will be 2/14 from 9:08- 9:55. Students are able to bring in finger foods to celebrate as well. Remember to include everyone in homeroom if you are passing out cards.*

2/7- reviewing problems for tomorrow's test, HW: study for test
2/8- cumulative assessment #13, division facts w/remainders fact test
2/9- HW- lesson 71; describe parts of a whole as a fraction, decimal and a percent; write percents and decimals as fractions; use fraction manipulative's to add and subtract fractions, decimals and percents
2/10- HW- lesson 72; draw and count square units to find the area of a rectangle; use formula A=l x w to calculate the area of a rectangle; estimate the area of a rectangle by rounding length and width, then multiplying; choose appropriate formula to solve problem
Language Arts:
Using an encyclopedia, prefixes/suffixes, compositions: organization, explanatory writing, features of explanatory writing- prewriting, draft, revise, edit, publish, present
Reading:
We will continue reading "Phantom Tollbooth" in class, while completing activities that reinforce main idea, comprehension, vocabulary and a mural that depicts Milo's journeys (Vocab. Matching Quiz on ch. 1-4 on Mon. Students have their list to study from.)
Spelling:

* Parents: Please note there is an Open House on 2/7 from 4-5 pm for any student interested in attending AoT Middle School next year. * Thank you to Aly and Devin for volunteering to attend!
Mrs. Robinson's class will pass out Valentine Cards during 2nd period on 2/14 from 9:08- 9:55. Please make sure to include everyone in the homeroom class. A list of names will be provided soon. There will also be a time set aside if they would like to exchange with Ms. Perrotta or Mrs. Rhoades' class. Students are welcome to bring in a snack for the class during this time if they would like.
