Math:
2/13- HW: lesson 73- add and subtract decimal #'s, use compatible #'s to estimate the solution to a problem
2/14- HW: lesson 74- use an equivalency table to convert units of length in the U.S. Customary System; use an equivalency table to convert units of length in the metric system
2/15- HW:lesson 75- convert improper fractions to whole or mixed #"s, add fractions and mixed #'s with common denominators and write the sum as a whole or mixed #
2/16- Practicing problems in class to prepare for test tomorrow, HW: study
2/17- No switching classes today due to FunFest (Test on Mon. 2/20 with multiplication fact test)

Language Arts:
Writing exam over Unit 3 on Mon. 2/13, adjectives, articles, demonstrative adjectives

Reading:
"Phantom Tollbooth", chapters 7-12 in class throughout the week, comprehension and main idea activities, vocabulary and fluency

Spelling:
Lessons 76-79, test on Fri.

*Valentine's Day Card Exchange will be 2/14 from 9:08- 9:55.  Students are able to bring in finger foods to celebrate as well.  Remember to include everyone in homeroom if you are passing out cards.*
