Saxon Math:
3/12- HW: study the study guide prepared in class for tomorrow's test
3/13- Cumulative assessment #16, multiplication fact test, no HW
3/14- HW: lesson 86- find a fraction of a whole number by multiplying
3/15- HW: lesson 87- use fraction manipulatives to divide fractions
3/16- HW: lesson 88- use translations, reflections and rotations to change the position of a figure on quadrant I of the coordinate plane; name the transformations that could be used to position one figure on another
*Please Note* All students should be studying their improper fractions/mixed number facts they copied from the transparency in class. The next math fact test coming up in the following week will be on this skill.
Language Arts:
composition: outlining, expository writing- prewrite, draft, revise/proofread, publish, present
Reading:
We will begin a unit study on "Kingdom Keepers", completing vocabulary activities, fluency, comprehension, sequencing, main idea/details, etc. in class.
Spelling:
Lessons 96- 99, test on Fri.
