Language Arts:
Classwork and Homework- "Speak Up" on "My Summer Vacation" worksheet due Monday, August 22, 2011. Create an outline of your summer vacation in phrases or short sentences to help remind you what to write about when it is time to compose a 3-5 paragraph essay (more details next week). The final product (more details next week as well) will be to present a 2-3 minute summarization of your summer vacation essay by only using the outline.
Spelling:
Classwork- Lesson 3 morphographs (-able)
Reading:
Classwork: Guided practice completing a plot line for comprehension of a familiar story "Mickey and the Beanstalk."
No homework
Math:
Classwork: Finished Saxon pre-test, discussed/completed practice questions for Lesson 1 on sequences, digits.
Homework: Lesson 1 Written Practice, bring several copies of the math homework sheet to keep in binder in order to receive homework help at school.
