Language Arts:
We are reading and completing comprehension activities in class regarding "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen. Students received a new reading contract with a mystery genre on Nov. 10. Please see the worksheet for due dates on vocab. activities, the writing assignment, plot line and art project. Students were asked to bring in Crayola Model Magic to create a model of the setting in 'Hatchet" by Nov. 18. Molding clay will also work as long as it is somewhat soft.
Please be aware that the outline of the Speak Up on a favorite holiday was due Nov. 10. Students will present the Speak Up this week, and the 5 paragraph essay will be due on Nov. 18. Students who do not celebrate holidays will be able to do an alternate assignment.
