**Special Note to Parents Regarding Math Class**
As a friendly reminder, I will be posting a review of my class rules on Monday, 11/7 to all students in my math class.  While many students fulfill this expectation above and beyond the requirements, some students seem to have forgotten the appropriate behavior I expect on a daily basis.  Please feel free to discuss these rules to your child and if you have any questions, please contact me at: lrobinson@atmschool.net. 
1)  Raise a hand to be called upon 2)  Be on task 3)  Be respectful 4)  Listen and follow the teacher's directions without argument

Please know if students choose not to follow the rules of my classroom, this will result in a loss of social privilege with the other 5th grade classes for that particular week.  Thank you in advance for your support. 

Math Homework:
Monday, 11/7- Lesson 39
Tuesday, 11/8- Lesson 40
Wednesday, 11/9- Investigation 4 in class, no homework
Thursday, 11/10- Review/study guide for cumulative assessment #7 on Monday, 11/14, no homework other than to study the concepts on the study guide
Friday, 11/11- No School, Veterans Day

Language Arts:
Unit test on "Hoot"- 11/7.  We will begin reading "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen in class on Tuesday, 11/8 and will complete activities based on comprehension/higher- level thinking skills.  Students were asked to bring in multi-color Crayola"Model Magic" by Monday, 11/14 to complete a reading project in class.  For more information, feel free to contact me at: lrobinson@atmschool.net
